by: CONFUSED PNMFor pref round I had one "top tier" house and one "middle-lower" tier house & I feel like there was such a small amount of girls at the top tier one and a large amount at the middle lower one. Personally I liked the middle lower one better and that's what I put for #1 but I'm nervous. Did the top tier houses make giant cuts before pref and that's why the group was small and the middle lower one not make their giant cuts yet? I'm scared I won't get a bid since there was alot of us left just in my round.

I might add that chapters also can't "cut" pnms after pref, only rank them on 1st and 2nd bid lists, so when chapters invite a PNM to pref, it's with the understanding that there's a chance she might end up with a bid to their chapter. This is why there are usually very heavy cuts before pref, so chapters don't invite a PNM they're iffy on and run the risk of giving that girl a bid. So if you're invited to pref at a house, that means they could reasonably see you as a member of their chapter.
