whose hazing ritual is this

ok so i have to think this is a pledging or hazing thing of some sort. this has happened like 3 times in the past week. always kind of near the hper/imu area. i am just in gym clothes or whatnot and a fratty looking guy says excuse me or hey this is random but i think youre cute, im (name). now i am in a ltr so i just say im permanently off the market and we wish each other a good day. these guys are all normal looking and not unattractive so i figure it has to be a thing the frats made them do. like i guess i am pretty cute but wouldnt this be more appropriate at a bar? just curious
