dropping

If I drop a fraternity after being initiated, can I still rush other fraternities after becoming inactive again? If I'm allowed to rush other fraternities, will the other fraternities even consider me during rushing? In my situation, I was initiated right away so I had no time to decide if the fraternity was the right choice for me or not.

Once you are initiated, you are initiated for life. I know for us at least you by law are not allowed to rush or participate in another colligate fraternity

Most middle - upper tier houses would not consider you during rush. If you dropped while pledging that would be a different story. But given you're already initiated somewhere, I am hard pressed to think any house would want you. I'm sure some lower tier houses would take you though.
