New Sorority
by: 2023So now that Delta Zeta is closing can they stop being stupid and add a new sorority rather than just expecting all the rush leftovers to join Delta Zeta? It's been over 6 years now since they added a new sorority and we seem to get a new fraternity every single year even though some fraternities aren't exactly not hurting for numbers.

If we do get a new sorority it won’t be until fall 2024. So we’ve got a year. And even then they would be recruiting a founding class, meaning they would not be going through formal recruitment. It also has to be voted on like every month so if more sororities vote no it could not pass. Agd should want a new sorority because it would help their ranks. The top sororities don’t want a new one.

Why would the top sororities care if another sorority is added to campus? The number of girls they would give bids to that would decline their bid in favor of the new sorority would be no more than one or two. AGD is the one that would be losing PNM's to the new sorority.

But the entire time their line has been that they can't even think of adding a new sorority until all of the existing ones make quota and that the rush leftovers should just go join DZ. Now that there is no DZ maybe they'll stop being stupid.
