Graduation #s by Sorority Chapter

by: Grads

Our nationals required paperwork this year about graduation numbers for our chapter and the other chapters on campus. Our advisors asked OFSL for this and they gave it to them. I’m posting it below as information but I’m sure someone with lower numbers will say it’s made up but this is actual data and the numbers for my chapter match what we had. Everyone can go ask OFSL yourselves for this data if you don’t believe it and this is what they will give you because this is what they gave our advisors and we sent this to our nationals. OFSL didn’t give any numbers for GPhi.

# Graduates by Chapter
Fall 2024, Spring 2025

Alpha Delta Pi 1, 32
Alpha Epsilon Phi 3, 23
Alpha Xi Delta 4,27
Chi Omega 4, 31
Delta Delta Delta 4, 16
Delta Zeta 4, 13
Kappa Alpha Theta 2, 16
Kappa Delta 2, 17
Kappa Kappa Gamma 5, 25
Pi Beta Phi 6, 29
Zeta Tau Alpha 2, 7

Total: 37, 236

This is a membership statistic showing strength of sisterhood, retention, and satisfaction with their organization. These are members who have pledged and then stayed through graduation and did not drop out of their chapters early.

Why isn’t OFSL releasing GPhi numbers?OFSL should post new membership and GPA. They used to post data on philo and drops but stopped posting information.

In what way? Truth is truth. Socials are truth, membership numbers are truth, transparency is truth.

In order to show retention you need to look at membership to drop numbers

Retention has nothing to do with your rank. Many top girls drop before graduation.

A strong membership with happy members = better retention, less recruiting. A large and stable membership reflects how successful the organization is and whether it's strong and thriving.

seriously don’t sleep on PiPhi and AlphaXi. Their sisters must be happy and these two chapters are performing well across the board.

This is the core of sisterhood. Chapters can recruit but can they RETAIN sisters? These chapters can and that’s more impressive than who they do hoco with or how much philo money they raise. Do the sisters want to pledge and stay after they pledge? This is the measure of success. Period.

Adpi, ChiO, PiPhi and AZD are obviously doing something very right.

Other chapters performing poorly in this measure would try to drown this post/information. Ask yourself why they wouldn’t want you to see this.

Great job to Pi Phi, AZD, ADPi and Chi O.

I think it’s a stretch to say people don’t want you to see this when there are just two dislikes on the OP’s post.

The numbers for my chapter are off by 3 for December graduates fwiw.

I agree with another poster that OFSL hasn’t been accurate. There was another post where the founding date of a chapter is incorrect on OFSL’s site.

It’s not a stretch when other data gets posted and this keeps getting drowned.

I agree with the post that says that if you think the op data is wrong then you should ask your chapter what they’ve been submitting to OFSL. OFSL can only provide data that is provided to them from the chapters.

Retaining members through graduation is a clear indicator of members feeling at home and satisfied with the sisterhood and their experience.

My chapter's info is off by 5 girls. I feel like Ofsl has not been accurate in posting correct data lately. Grades haven't been updated in over a year.

OFSL data comes from the membership rosters submitted by the chapters. It’s not like they pull it out of the air. Every chapter sent a roster with names and student IDs and they ran it against the graduating student ID’s. If the OFSL data isn’t accurate than the roster your chapter sent isn’t accurate. In other words, who are you treating like an active sister who isn’t actually on your official roster?
I would be upset if my chapter was allowing someone to participate like an active sister (socials, sister activities, formal) but was not actually active on our roster (paying dues, accountable for membership requirements, etc). Something for you to think about if you think your chapters data in the OP is incorrect. You might want to request and active roster listing from your chapter and go to OFSL and ask them what your chapter has submitted to compare the two. Before you just assume that OFSLs data is wrong. They get the data from forms the chapter submits.

Some chapters retain members for life. Others, don’t make it to graduation.
