What happened to Theta in Texas?

Theta used to be a respected sorority in Texas. What happened? Poor reputation here. Kicked off at SMU. Not strong at TCU and A&M. This is disappointing.

They have a good chapter at TAMU, but it’s completely different from UT or SMU Theta. They put on great philanthropy events and usually have highest gpa but are not a party chapter, studious and Christian.

Lost all respect when LIED about other sororities’ rushes (pi phi and kappa specifically) - spread fake news on snaps - assuming Panhellenic will be watching them closely this year - biggest dirty rush house on campus
And Ironic since theta gave snaps this spring after setting record with 13 girls dropping out in fall-

Don’t they check recommendations anymore? From conversations I’ve had with other alums it seems like they are taking just anyone from some of these high schools in nice districts - not even checking reputations? What’s the point of these letters? Are they not reading them? Truly surprised at some of these girls in house now.
