Which houses offer snap bids?

Snap bids happen when a sorority still has open spots because the girls they picked didn’t take their bid. It depends on how well the sorority does in getting back the girls they want and it differs every year so it’s not known what sororities will offer them yet. You will not get a snap bid from a sorority you didn’t talk to as they usually reach out to girls who they at least had for a round and extend it to them

It's much more likely that the snap bids go to girls that made it to later rounds and for some reason got cut b/c the sorority HAS to cut a certain number and may have really liked that girl but had to let her go. In other words, if you got cut before philanthropy for XYZ sorority - do not expect a snap bid. If you got cut before pref from ABC sorority - it's possible you could get a snap bid but don't count on it. Every year it is different.

I’m in the Big 6 and I can tell u sometimes some of the Seniors decided to take early alum and our chapter gave out snaps last year.

Snap bidding ends when bids are distributed on Bid Day. This is so the women can join their chapter on bid day with the other new members seamlessly.
The Snap Bidding process takes place before bids are distributed on Bid Day and eligibility is limited to women, who participated in at least the first round of recruitment (I.e. Open House).
These are women who dropped out of recruitment after Open House or were dropped by everyone which can happen if cross-cut or who ISP a chapter at preference.
By definition most who ISP wouldn’t take a snap bid from any other because they only wanted the one house that didn’t take them.
Snap Bids are coordinated and extended through the University Panhellenic Council, likely a Rho Gamma, prior to the distribution of bids and the start of Bid Day activities.
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) begins as soon as Bid Day begins.
@@@Your big six chapter was replacing seniors through CoB not Snaps. Snaps are to get you up to Quota. CoB is to replace lost members.
