It depends of course, but all chapters have to take them. I think most would say it is a lot easier than freshman rush.....especially if you have been going to stuff with girls in sororities all year. Most sophomores who rush belong to friend groups with girls in sororities. As for big six.......Just realize you want to be in a sorority where you already have friends bc you will probably not want to do stuff with the freshmen pledge sisters or boys.

if youre transferring from another school just try to come in with an open mind...it can be difficult

if you are already at UT, focus on getting to know lots of girls in chapters who you are going out with. If those are big six girls, great. If they aren’t, I wouldn’t risk missing a chapter where you have a lot of good friends for the big six name. That could be disastrous. Sophomore pledges typically run with same girls they ran with freshmen year not freshmen pledges so it might end up hard to fit in even if you get into one.
