Very comparable and a similar “type of girl” but Zeta is one of the original big 6 if thats important to you. Alot of friendships between the two groups.

Zeta, AXO, and DG are ALL above APhi. So obvious an APhi is self-promoting.

Both groups are hot, confident, big into partying with an emphasis on looks.

ZTA is big 6 with APhi right behind them.

Lots of ZTA cheer/pom girls hang with their APhi buds. The APhi cheer/pom girls hang out mostly with their own Aphi sisters.

ZTA is higher profile but the gap between the 2 is smaller in recent years. With DDD moving down and APhi moving up and all of the APhi-big 6 friend groups, they have been one heck of a consolation prize for PNMs that slip through the cracks when rushing big 6.

Both great chapters.

Zeta is more high profile but APhi is Zeta lite, so you’re no slouch if you end up there. Lots of girls hanging out with both.

Some girls care about “big six” and would prefer Zeta based on status but Alpha Phi is similar, both focus on looks and an outgoing personality. And as already stated, lots of friend groups between the 2 chapters

Both are dope. Zeta is just classier imo and has tradition here. Aphi is very fun and genuine, don’t try as much, but still a little ratchet. I don’t think aphi is trying to be zeta, so much as they’re trying to be anything at all. They have no rep here other than being “zeta lite” haha. Stop pinning women against each other who literally hang out in the same friend groups.

Alpha phi absolutely has a 100 year tradition here at Texas and it’s that of been a full but basic chapter.

Something changed for them in the 90s and they rocketed up since then. Yeah, they are now Zeta-light and that in and of itself is amazing considering their history.

Zeta has more prestige but APhi is a great chapter to get. They have friend groups attached to all Big 6 chapters and date guys in Fiji, Rho and Sig Ep all the way down to Phi Psi and ATO
