time commitment

by: pnm?

I've been SO excited for recruitment and everything over the course of the past few months. However, I'm beginning to question if the time commitment is going to be too great for me to be involved in other things as well. I'm a sophomore who is involved with the on campus tv station and I really want to continue doing that while also having the chance to be in a sorority. Can anyone give me some solid advice or personal experience on how to juggle things? I just want to make sure before I get so excited about this all that I know what I'm getting into. Thanks so much!

All sororities are filled with great academic students who do a bunch of volunteer work and/or other school activities and have rich social lives. It's just up to you if you have the discipline for all of it.

If you don't know how to organize yourself for college by this time, just pass on rush. Too many girls wanting the same houses anyway for anyone to deal with someone like you who isn't sure how to handle it all at UT.
