The UT chapter standing on it's own is absolutely great. Smart, pretty girls who have a full, satisfying greek life. The problem is being one of 14 chapters at UT, where they just aren't the same as the others.

What hurts them is retention. They consistently make quota, but they consistently lose a big chunk of PNMs every year before initiation. They have around 150 members - more than 100 fewer members than the next largest chapter. If I were a PNM, that would make me wonder if they were in the danger zone with their national.

Being a legacy from any sorority is not going to hurt you despite what some douches here tell you. Join the house where you feel at home.
