what determines a top house

legit wondering what determines who is top? if it's just based on looks, the reality is that there are hot girls in every house, and there are just average or even not good looking girls in each house. so is it income level? clothes? personality? how nice their house is or where it's located? who they hang out with? and honestly what does being in a touse get you? it's not like there are any exclusive parties or bars here in madison, and all the frat parties kind of suck anyway. so what is it?

For sororities, i think a lot of it is money, because some of the ppl with the most money are in the so called top houses. but your right, you can't tell a Kappa from a Tri Delt by looks alone. i do think location matters, because the guys in SAE aren't any hotter than any other house, but the location is awesome on the lake. no one cares about ranks after your freshman or sophomore year anyway
