Sorority reputations
by: WonderingHi I’m rushing in the fall and was wondering regardless of rank what are the reputations of sororities on campus? I want to find a house that I truly am comfortable in and don’t care about rankings

If you are looking for a sorority that is full of nice girls that are normal and don’t only care about being rich and what they look like then I highly recommend pi phi that is a well respected sorority and the nicest girls and also theta, axid, dg, have a lot of fun and have very nice girls!! I would say that of the top sororities gphi is the nicest and kkg aphi and axo are known for being mean and only care about wealth and looks.

I would definitely agree with this - the upper mid/mid sororities (pi phi, chi o, dg, axid) definitely have a good balance of going out while also caring about friendships and academics.

Honestly some of the lower sororities have a lot of really rude girls in them. I would definitely shoot for DG, Pi Phi, and AXiD. All of the girls I've met in theta, zeta, and sdt have a huge chip on their shoulder because of their "rank." Tridelt has a lot of really sweet girls and is definitely under appreciated.

Mostly agree, sdt girls always jump to hating on zeta for not having a house to try and make themselves look better.
Theta is like cool girl central. They want you to know they're cool and not like other girls.
Zeta is irrelevant, no house. Also every girl i've met doesn't seem like a sorority girl, like they do other things
Tri delt is super sweet and usually either obsessively involved with tri delt or a bunch of other things on campus
Overall despite their faults, they are the most diverse ones here which is good

literally. just go for any chapter that's not a "top one" bc they will be insufferable about it. wish i had joined a mid or lower one to meet nicer/more chill girls. no one outside of those "top ones" actually cares abt greek life.
