How much does being a minority affect your chances of being in a top fraternity or sorority? Please be honest and tell the truth

Honestly, being a POC can help you during rush. Most frats value diversity since all of them are a bunch of white men.

Honestly if your looking for diversity look out for Fiji, Delt, Pike and for Srats probably Axo

I wrote a super long detailed message on this post, but it got deleted :( . Quick summary of what I had, is that it doesn't matter if you are a minority. 99.999% of people that make it to a prestigious college understand that society will cancel you so fast, especially in the Greek system. I came into the Greek system worried about being a minority, I asked at ever rush event what it was like being a minority in Greek life. I got the same answer every-time, it does not matter AT ALL. I can’t speak as much for sororities, but I would assume it would be similar.

If you are rushing Pike (I’m in Pike), it won’t affect you at all. Pike (the fraternity that I’m in) would be considered the “woke” fraternity. I received a bid and I am 1/16 Ojibwa Native American (and I’m in Pike).
