Kappa / Aphi - The very top tier
These two houses consistently get the best girls. They tend to be beautiful, smart, social and popular. If you see a tall gorgeous blonde she will probably be in one of these houses. These are the girls guys are obsessed with.
Gphi - middle top tier
These girls are the life of the party and fun to be around. Cute girls who don’t care about looks and are more about personality. These are the girls who are buddies with the guys.
DG/AXO - lower top tier
The girls in these houses are very diverse. They are pretty girl next door types who are friendly and mostly stay out of drama. These are the girls guys want to marry.
XO / A XiD/ Theta/ Pi Phi -upper middle tier
These houses are not quite as visible on the overall Langdon social scene, but have good sisterhoods and have a lot of fun together. They all had a great rush this year and are well-liked.
AEphi / Tri Delt / SDT- mid tier
These houses are each good. They tend to get girls who want to stay away from drama and are focused on finding real friendships in college. It is unfair to them to have them on the bottom, because really they are all quality girls, but the are more niche sororities.
There is no bottom tier at Wisconsin.

I think I could maybe get on board with this if the poster didn’t choose the name “unbiased” and then went on to describe Kappa and APhi as “beautiful, smart, social and popular” and “tall gorgeous blondes”....lollll. I’d never call APhi smart and don’t think of Kappas as exclusively blondes....So, yeah. Not unbiased. Plus, what does that make the rest of us? Short average brunettes? Whatever. And oh yeah, I would agree that there is no bottom tier and also that Gamma Phi is getting a raw deal on here. Valuing personality over aesthetics doesn’t lower your tier status unless you are super insecure or extremely superficial.

The worst part of this is that we know that neither of those houses have all tall, gorgeous blondes. How are they making their other sisters feel that don’t fit into that category? And let’s face it, there are plenty in both houses. Forget about the competition, you are bashing your own sisters. It a disgrace.

As someone not joining a “top” house I appreciate seeing the nice things said about all of the houses. There are great things about each house and that is what we should focus on. I don’t get all the hate on here. It is mostly entertaining but it is nice to see some nice posts too.

Seems like the “top 5” houses are a commodity for the “top frats.” These “men” use these women from the “top 5” houses until these women loose looks or the frat dudes gets tired of them. Ladies from the “top houses”, wouldn’t you want an education from UW so that you can dictate your own life and not depend on these “men?” Don’t be a WAG, lolz.

It is interesting that you think the members of the top five houses aren’t focused on getting an education. These houses are filled with exceptionally accomplished women, who are not only beautiful but brilliant. If it helps you to think they are just mindless girls looking for boyfriends then go ahead and think that. But don’t be surprised when you graduate and find out your boss is a GPhi. Sorry these girls really are just the best of the best.
