I have now stalked every chapters Bid Day photos and can say purely on looks:
APhi/DDD
Kappa/AXO/SK
ChiO/ADPi/AEPhi/DG
ZETA/Pi Phi/GPhi
KD/DPhiE/AGD
AOII/Phi Ro Alpha
And now, I will rank by diversity of pledge classes:
AOII/GPhi/AGD
KD/Pi Phi/DPhiE
ZETA/ChiO/ADPi/AEPhi
DG/Kappa/SK
AXO/DDD/APhi

You say "who would straight call a top tier a top tier but won’t admit why they are being placed there." Um ... nobody would say that. If you ask anyone - on this site or on campus - why DDD/APhi (among others) are considered the "top" sororitys, and they'll answer "it's because the girls in those sororities are smokeshows".
You can call them shallow (without knowing them) or mean (without knowing them) ... but there's no denying that most of the girls in the "top" houses are hot.
If you're looking for social justice or diversity of color (or diversity of body type, hairstyle, or fashion) you probably should look elsewhere.

so you agree? Greek life, or at least the top tier, is for hot, skinny, white girls? Which would mean that it is, indeed shallow? It’s funny that you took offense at being called shallow more than the fact that there’s literally no diversity in Greek life.

Diverse chapters don’t get the least amount of people. 16 out of 17 chapters made quota. And even if they do, it’s because the system discourages WOC from making it all the way to Pref.

Phi Ro Alpha isn't affiliated; why are they on the "looks" list (though they aren't on the "diversity" list)?. And SDT isn't listed anywhere. Pretty sloppy post. But that being said, if you put SDT in the middle tier of "looks", that actually would be a pretty accurate list. As for diversity, I am not so presumptuous or obtuse as to define diversity based solely on skin color, weight, or other physical features.

Yeah? What house are/were you in? Also, why are you still on GR if you arnt an undergraduate? Maybe expressing your interest with a COB bid would have been helpful from the beginning. I just know I read the article about her experience and she ripped the houses apart.

So are you saying Greek Life, a community that prides itself on philanthropy and core values, shouldn’t normalize diversity? If you look at rush lines, you will see many MANY more WOC going through recruitment Than you see in those pledge classes. It’s not a coincidence that you don’t see a lot of those women in “top tier” houses. So many women who don’t fit the physical profile of the ideal sorority girl get filtered out of houses with the recruitment system that many top Tier houses use, and guess what!!! It happens before they even step into the houses during first rounds. To say that there isn’t an obvious pattern is absolutely ignorant. Call it what you want.
