Just putting it out there... AGD has one of the biggest/nicest sorority houses on campus. It even was nominated as one of the nicest in America. They’ve still been considered a “bottom tier” sorority here since my mom was in greek life 30 years ago. No one cares that snu is getting pike’s house except snu and pike. I think I’m going to explode if I see another post about how getting a house is going to make snu shoot up to be the Greek gods of campus. Like it’s good to have pride in your organization but at some point pride becomes arrogance. If snu is meant to become the Greek kings of campus next year, great, and let snu’s Actions speak for themselves and OWN IT. However, talking about all the great stuff that’s gonna happen on an online forum just makes people irritated at y’all and doesn’t help your case.

^having a killer chapter house is a way nore important factor for success in frats versus sororities. plus history matters as legacies rush, so top frats tend to reestablish their reputation as legacies return. put money on it that sigma nu is top tier by winter semester 2020.

beta used to be top house here until their nationals forced them to be dry. lambda was also top house back then but they've gone soft. only time will tell with sig nu

^so true, beta is a good example of how the alcohol ban by a national changes the calculation for a historically top house. sig ep, sae and phi delt are three more examples of nationals'policies taking down top houses. du nationally goes dry fall 2020, and more nationals likely announce same this year. u of m and a2 are very likely to make all frat chapter houses booze free by 2020-2021 so no one may have a big social advantage then. but snu will be in an even better position if that happens bc chapter houses will be back to being ranked on location, quality and bro happenings not how sick a party they can host. but, agree, let's snu needs to make it happen before bragging
