Wow, where do I begin? This chapter has done more for me as an individual and my college experience than I could have ever hoped to gain anywhere else. Kappa Sigma has taken me places that I never thought I could go, and along the way I’ve made lifelong friends and brothers. Coming to campus, I was lost. I was an unmotivated and reckless freshman with no real idea where I was going in life. I rushed in the fall of 2016 where my future brothers offered me a bid, and my life changed entirely. I was no longer that lost freshman, but rather had become a part of an entity greater than myself. I gained motivation, drive, and vision to accomplish any task that is thrown my way, and have laid the groundwork for a future I can be proud of. I have climbed the ranks within Kappa Sigma and even served as the Vice President of the chapter last semester. The members are passionate leaders, determined and focused in every facet, but put brotherhood and fellowship before anything else. I cannot emphasize enough how much this chapter have given to me, and if you are looking for a life-changing experience and opportunity to make the best friends you’ll ever have, you need look no further than Kappa Sigma at UNI.

Super sweet guys! You can tell theyre very close to each other, but they aren't that well know on campus.

Super great group of girls and LOVE to hangout and have lots of study dates from what I have heard. Great mix of girls and really value sisterhood

Best fraternity on campus by far. They are caring and are driven. Awesome guys

They are the best. Highest GPA, best campus involvement, and sisterhood. They know how to have fun, what more could you want in a sorority?

They have a “girl next door reputation” but they’re more than that. These girls are smart, genuine, actively involved on campus, social, and very talented. I wish I went AXiD even though they are all so different. Their sisterhood is so strong and I admire them for that!

Not that great, I’m sick of hearing about their “first, finest, forever” slogan

While GPhi is a great sorority on campus, I think that there is a lot of room for improvement. Their reputation is very exclusive and full of elitists. I don’t think that this is a good quality to have because it often misguides the women going through recruitment into wanting them because they’re all thin and pretty. Personally, I think a majority of them are very cult like, unapproachable, and forceful when it comes to required events and Dues. Also their color’s of brown and mode are atrocious yet they remain unused

Heard from a friend who is currently a member of Gamma Phi Beta that they are forcing girls to live in the sorority house because the house HAS to be filled. Names are drawn, and if you're name gets drawn, you either have to live in the house, or you can live elsewhere but you still have to pay a portion of rent for living in the sorority house. They were also told that no one was allowed to sign a lease anywhere until all of the rooms in the house are filled. This is why members have been dropping like flies from GPhi this last year. Sad and I really hope this isn't true but it needs to be brought to attention. Have heard from multiple members.
