calling all PNMs — listen before rushing

The fact that you’re advertising this HERE and planning to post it right before recruitment blatantly shows your disregard for the those who have stories to tell on this podcast. It seems like if snapped actually cared about these individuals and their experiences then they wouldn’t have to advertise it and post it on Greek Rank, especially if it’s already recorded and could be posted now. It’s honestly upsetting and it seems like it’s going to invalidate any of the stories told which should be the opposite of their goal. “secrets secrets are no fun unless you share with everyone” ???? Are you 12? If their stories actually mattered to anyone involved in the podcast they wouldn’t market it like this nor try and stir the pot (for lack of a better expression) right before rush. Don’t even want this post bumped but had to be said.

At this point... sad isnt the right word. The fact its recorded and advertising??? I think she/they just need attention. College for her/them went badly and she/they are graduated and stuck!!! Stuck and unhappy yet do not live at college park and graduated and are not ages 18 to 22...graduated. should be adults? Real world must also not be going well...my big sister in my sorority loved college and loves her job and where she lives. These girls are stuck/unhappy...want others to be too. Why a need to go and on. I'm sorry...I've been in a sorority for 2 years now and no horror stories. I agree with the Tridelt about st judes. Get a life! Do something good for mankind. Sorority is a free will choice and I like mine. Horror stories... I thought the snapped podcast was ...sad. but now this is beyond sad...they keep going on after they graduated. Why do they care so much??? Why are they so stuck??? Beyond unhappy...

I know a few girls who dropped out of a sorority - different tiers. No drama just didn't fit with the house after rushing. 2 were cut from the top houses and only wanted a top house and the other 1 felt insecure like the snapped podcast. Just felt insecure...all went on with their lives. The snapped girl was ... off. Her reaction, the podcast, to keep going on. She is off to me or her friend...I'm in a sorority and no horror stories. Pledge week was not horrible, I lived in my house - everyone nice and you all hang out together. Why snapped ... snapped... I think she needs attention. At some point in life you have to move forward with anything you try and it doesn't work out the way you thought. I was excited to rush and like being in my sorority but its just 1 part of life. I have an internship in DC, I went abroad a semester, I'm in 2 clubs outside of my sorority. To put horror and sorority together - girls out there rushing - it's a group of girls - dont make it bigger and better in your head. I love it but its 1 part of college. These snapped girls are unhappy and want others to be unhappy too.

Agree with the above posts...I'm in a sorority and horror and sorority is beyond crazy/out of whack. I like being in my sorority. It's a bunch of girls living and hanging out together. No one is mean to anyone or excludes them. We study, eat and socialize together. During rush choose a house you like talking to the girls. Seems like everyone is very into rank...fine. once your in a house..you just focus on the girls in your house. True you party in ranks w frats. True. I listened to the podcast for 4 minutes and thought ...thought it was sad and then why is she so miserable? Her reaction was not normal. Any girl reacting like that is not normal - could be 10% of girls in houses. 90% of girls in sorority like it and it's normal rushees. I have a friend who dated a guy she deemed hot for superficial reasons- all she did was complain like the snapped podcast about how treated her. Why was she dating him - superficial reasons. My bf treats me great and I'm happy. I'm happy in my sorority, w my bf. You choose superficial in life ...put on a mask...dont complain. I was myself in rush, I got bids to a top house and it's great! I found a group of girls I like and I'm happy. No horror stories behind my sorority doors or anything I've heard from my friends in other houses.

Agree...snapped podcast...you graduated...move on already! Stop trolling our sites, stop defending your friend who chose to record and post a podcast. No one cares! If you all hated being in a sorority...quit!!! Move on. No need to try to drag down the girls and guys in it who like it. Horror story! Agree get a real life. You've graduated. Go visit a cancer hospital. Seriously get off greek rank, stop posting, you e again graduated! I'm in a sorority... no horror stories. I'm sorry you were so miserable in alpha phi...you gotta move on already. My best friend in that house and I'm in a similar house and no horror stories. Snapped podcast can't let go after graduation and is still posting January 27.

the ones who listen to it are either bored, drunk, hate greek life or got cut during rush or are unhappy in house in.

Who cares. The girls happy in their house don't care...never cared. Why they just moved on and the top sororities stayed top no matter how hard snapped tried.

I'm bored when I read this stuff. Do I care..not really. The snapped girls cared then and care now.
