New Sorority Rankings 2021

Alpha Phi is same as theta/tridelt BUT people get so DRAMATIC ... it seems easier to leave them out. But everyone knows they are top with tridelt/theta.

Lets be real, Alpha is in a league of their own. Everyone just loves to hate them,

A girl in DG had the email rant. DG stayed lower middle ...as it always was. I think because Alpha Phi a top house...people just let the 1 girl rant...get too out of control. It didn't effect their rush. It seems more outside slam. It's not effecting alpha phi rush or dating or hanging with other sororities....

A girl in theta who back in 2012...terp paper rant on all sororities. She had quit.

1 girl not happy being in her house, quit and move on. These rants...whether theta, alpha phi or DG... its 1 girl who has an anger towards her sorority. Again...its a "choice" to be in a sorority. If you don't like it, quit quietly and move on in your life. These rants are individual with each girl, 3 out of 9 years and thousands and thousands of girls. I honestly think we shouldn't give it attention. 3 girls out of a 9 year time span and out of 16 sororities.... such a small percentage.

This doesnt sound like a tier issue BUT a maryland greek system issue. Why are we making it a tier? Its 16 houses, if it happens to any girl in any house...WHY is this NOT going punished??? Crazy! Why wasnt alpha phi on probation? The guy who did it? National Alpha Phi let this happen???

I just listened to Lucy's podcast, I honestly never listened to it before. I'm a senior. I'm shocked at it. I'm shocked how traumatized by greek life she was... I'm not in alpha phi...but a similar house. I honestly loved being in my sorority. I feel sad for her that she was so "dragged down/traumatized" by her experience. I dont see being in a sorority as a cult. My experiences with frat guys and the parties was good. We hung out with 4 frats a lot and I honestly never saw or experienced this behavior. As for hazing, other than hell week which was pretty tame and we pledges hung together, I felt sad for her. Disappointed Lucy presented greek life so awful when my experience was good. Some drama with any group of girls... I know a bunch of alpha phi's... they like their house too. For me, I wouldn't have liked college as much without my sorority. I rushed as a sophomore so I experienced life not in a sorority and in a sorority and I highly recommend it.

I do think alpha phi should be with theta and Tridelt. That's the real rank. It isnt my sorority. Lucy's anger towards the greek system is outta whack. The podcast should not effect rank, so far it hasn't. I chose a sorority I liked and felt comfortable in during rush. My freshman roommate was surprised when I chose to cut 2 sororities deemed in the top 3...I told her in round 3, I just didnt feel as comfortable with those girls as the house I put number 1 and I'm a current member. I'm very happy in my choice!!! The way Lucy went through rush, she was putting on a show to get a bid??? After listening to her podcast, she just sounded to me from day 1 til podcast 6 - a girl who has no idea who she really is and has such an anger for the greek system...outta whack. Maybe if lucy got to know Lucy - she would be happier. My freshman roommate ended up in 1 of the sororities I cut and she is very happy. She is happy and I do like her friends. We were both ourselves during rush and chose sororities that fit our personalities and wants and we are both happy.

I agree... Alpha Phi should be in top 4...

Podcast??? I'm guessing during rush Lucy was dropped by Tridelt, Theta and KD during rush because she comes off a bit sharp/trying too hard... Alpha Phi tends to get a different type of girl than the other 3 who are more similar.

I think Lucy was just so obsessed with being deemed hot/cool and being in a top house. Then she was angry...the show she put on to get a bid, she couldn't sustain it. She was too obsessed with the Greek system during rush, in it and after it. She was so effected!!! She isolated herself and didn't even go to the bars, tried to get other girls to HATE their sorority??? Lucy to me is not only self destructive but destructive to others as well. I think anyone gunning for alpha phi because of the lucy podcast is out to take alpha phi down a peg. Alpha Phi attracts a certain girl - that's who fits them. It fits a niche in the Greek system.

This was about greek rank and which spot alpha phi takes? Didnt you graduate? This is for current students. Lucy chose to do snapped. Aren't you out of college??? Not a student??? ...we dont need snapped 2. Lucy was the one who went into detail about why she hated her sorority and told others why it sucked. We are allowed to defend the Greek system. People are putting alpha phi down because of the lucy podcast from years ago. I'm not in alpha phi but it's still a popular house during rush and this is a greek rank discussion. We are discussing the ranks and why certain girls like certain houses. Current students only. Lucy told her version on her podcast. Her version. We can also comment what it's like to be in our sororities and if girls have good experiences... we are allowed to talk about it.

Lucy's first podcast went on and on about rush. 33 minutes?? The way lucy described her experience was a turn off. I went through rush and my experience was different. This website is for current students only. Graduated students - why are you even on greek rank? You graduated. Lucy CHOSE to tell her story publicly and on great great detail, still has her podcast up even though she graduated, and not everyone liked how she presented herself and how she went through rush. She described how she went through. My friends and I went through different and like our sororities. We can talk about good experiences. If you are a current student, please give your opinions freely. But if you have graduated, please dont comment on greek rank. It's for current students only. Unfortunately lucy was traumatized BUT my friends and I love greek life and for us, we are glad its here!!! Since people want to "stone" alpha phi... because of a podcast... others have the right to give their opinions and to also say good things about alpha phi. The girls I know in alpha phi like it!!! 1 girl I know quit her sorority but she didnt like it or thought it was too expensive and we are friends with her and she comes with me to parties. Greek Rank is around to talk about the positive too!!
