how competitive is sorority rush?

Its honest in that rush is competitive BUT to say she looked around and thought ehhh and was worried enough to post this thread? Makes no sense to me. BUT I went to a large school she mentioned freshman year and rushed...I got a top tier bid at that school. Family stuff happened and I came home transferred to maryland. Went through rush at maryland as a sophomore - top tier at maryland.

From my view... for majority top tiers who go through rush...not a snapped podcast type, not a girl who tried so hard to get into certain houses... I think the tops are the same at most schools. Pretty much 85%/90% group of cool girls. I would say always a few who may not fit in.

Rush is stressful because you want a fit and a house you want...1000 girls...its gets girl intense during rush. Once your in the sorority...its fun.

Agree... the person top tier at other school and mid tier at maryland. How rush shakes out...probably why this girl was mean YET nervous. Would she get a bid? Maybe rush at her other school didnt go well or it did and she had to transfer...

To say a top at maryland wouldnt be a top elsewhere? Hmmmmm.... harsh and untrue. I'm in a top and my other friends visit me and think girls in my house are awesome.
