does going to open houses matter?

For sorority rush, Will it hurt my chances if I don't go to open houses or other events? Or does it not really matter?

it wouldnt hurt you if you didnt go but itd definitely help you to some extent

If you're rushing in the spring it's not a big deal if you can't go. But the sorority I'm in remembered me from their open house so it helped a little
