I agree with some of the previous comments. I thought that the so called "top" houses- Pi Phi, Tri Delt, Zeta, and Alpha Phi were very pretty but it seemed like looks is really all they had to offer. They seemed very fake and not genuine overall. Which was a shame for me because I am a legacy to one of those houses and was really looking forward to it.

Can you not listen to anything but self ranking rah rah bs (what "top house" ate you in)???? PNMS THIS is why you need to have open eyes & an open heart to ALL houses. Not just those who have to defend to keep their house "top" .

Hey PNM's - See the fighting on here? That's why we tell you to stay off this site, especially during rush. You're already stressed and confused. You don't need to add this nonsense to your brain. For all we know, it could be just one or two people fighting with themselves to create drama. If you still feel the need to come on here this week, try to keep in mind that it could even be frat dudes on here trolling. It's sad that this post has become a trainwreck. But if you must come on here, please keep posting positive comments. It's helpful!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There's a house for everyone! And if you don't like a house, or if you like a house, that's fine. But you don't have to reload this page 30 times to like or downlike your own comment.

If someone was cut by a house after the first round ( had a Rec for), and they thought it went awesome... what are other reasons this could have happened? Did it hurt if this person was a legacy to another house?
Have since not been cut and they have loved every house..

Having a rec does not guarantee that you won't get cut. It could be many things. Your GPA, the impression of the girls you spoke with, the fact that you were just one spot below the mandatory cut off...you'll never know, and you shouldn't think about it. Everyone gets cut from all but one by bid day.
