Sorry but the big 6 really only exists at UT. Zeta lost their house at SMU and XO isn't that strong their either. Tridelt and ZTA aren't top at A&M. KKG and Tridelt aren't top at TCU....and so on. It just really depends what campus you're on.

do people keep hating on KKG and PBP on here? aren't they good at tech?

they have been a top sorority. Both are on probation. Pi Phi for hazing and I'm not sure what KKG is on for. Bottom line, every sorority has an overall reputation. I'm not going to post that here because it is all subjective. Every house is liked and disliked for different reasons. You need to go through rush and decide for yourself.

There are 6 top sororities in TX. Tri Delt, KKG, XO, Pi Phi, Zeta and Theta. They are top tier at most schools in TX. They are also really strong sororities nationally. With that said, There are 11 houses on Greek Circle. All of them have great philanthropies. All have well rounded girls who make good grades and are pretty. Being Greek will hold you to a higher standard than not going Greek. So, my advise would be to go to each sororities national website. Read about them. Read the important stuff like what they stand for and read the fun stuff like their colors and mascots. Learn about each one and keep an open mind when you go through recruitment. There is truly a place for everyone and you will find the place that is best for you. I wish you luck and enjoy yourself!

It just really depends what campus you're on.Also keep in mind that sororities that are strong in TX are not necessarily strong in other areas of the country. Every NPC group has a certain region of the country where they're strongest so it really doesn't matter which group you join as long as you go greek!

XO is strong at SMU and Tri Delt & ZTA are top at A&M. ZTA has been strong there for yrs! These top 6 houses are basically the strongest houses around TX and the country. So, yes, keep an open mind, but also know that these are the top 6 whether you like it or not.
