sorority comments

any girls who go through Rush at Tech are lucky---all the sororities are strong and all have strong Nationals. There's really no "bad" option.

adpi is the only sorority whos nationals isnt as great as the rest....but still pretty good nationally. and no they were not the first actual sorority...

I'm not sure how you're measuring the national strengh of a sorority but I definitly wouldn't say adpi is at the bottom of the list. If you're going my membership it goes

typo..adpi should be between tridelt and kappa between number of chapters.

seems that if a sorority at Tech is diverse, they get labeled a bottom tier. Is it that way for the frats too?

based on number of initiates, and number of strong chapters around the country, alumni, etc.

my numbers are from the national sororitey websites. There are other sororities (not at tech) that have more chapters and/or more members that some of the tech sororities. Your list might be more accurate for Texas? but not nationally. The only way I could see your list being accurate would be if you based it on the date of admission to the NPC since ADPi and KD, although already established, joined later than the others.

well its based on strong historical ties with the NPC, number of initiates/chapters, alumni, reputation, etc. I compiled that list based on a large number of important factors. Pretty sure mine is correct. The only sororities who joined the NPC when it was created by alpha phi were tridelt, pi phi, kappa, dg, theta, and gamma phi

is a joke. Unbelievable self ranking and bashing going on here. Take a look PNM that PiPhi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, APhi, Alpha Chi, Zeta don't come on here and buy into this petty crap because their comment numbers stand to be the lowest. I'm sure that will change now because the insecure houses will try to push up the comments..take note the date 27Jun and you'll see how suddenly these houses with the low comments will suddenly spike by the insecure houses that seriously think this site has merit.

I still think ranking sororities on a national level is pretty difficult. The only sororities with chapters/alumnae that are consistantly strong around the country are KKG, PiPHi and Theta...maybe ChiO due to their size. The rest (and this includes other strong nationals like DZ, PhiMu and AOPi who aren't at Tech) are more regionally strong. Aphi, AXO, DG dominate in the west and ZTA, KD, and ADPi dominate in the Southeast. Texas is kind of a mix but you always have the "big 6" that are consistant
