sorority comments

I personally think that all the sororites are really strong at Tech. They are all different with different personalities but that's what makes a strong Greek system. No sororities at Tech struggle with getting members like on other campuses. If you look at the sorority websites, they all have beautiful girls, great philanthropy projects and leadership opportunities for their members. Yes--some groups may be more "social" than others (meaning their focus is on parties and mixers with the "best" fraternities) but not all PNM's join a sorority for those reasons. Some PNM's look for strong academics, some look for a strong sisterhood, and some look for a strong social chapter. Some chapters are more down to earth and some are more social climbers. All the groups at Tech have strong nationals so there's a great place for all PNM's. Keep an open mind during recruitment and pick the house that feels like "home"

Tech has a strong greek system with smart beautiful girls in all chapters but there's really no "middle tier"
