^^This. Chi o self ranks bc they don't like that people mention their lack of sisterhood in reviews, theta self ranks because they're desperate to finally be seen as no longer a new chapter & want to be taken more seriously &/or no longer be viewed as irrelevant/bottom tier

adpi is secretly huge on self ranking. no one calls them on it because they don't try to say they're top, but they're huge on making sure chi o isn't considered top and that KD gets pushed down.

Tbh I don't think anyone's trying to knock KD, they don't really have any conflict or rivalry with other chapters in the way that houses like aphi & sk do. KD generally does their own thing, people usually leave them be for the most part. They don't really excel in any specific area so I don't see why a house would want them pushed down

You're right. Even though they don't have a distinct "type" KD is a great chapter, as are ALL the middle tier chapters, which is why they have so much drama on here, because they're all going after really amazing girls. A PNM should be happy to get a bid to any of the great chapters GW has.

Everyone knows it's not the rankings on individual pages that matters, it's the discussion rankings. Individual rankings are ridiculous and ever-changing (removal of "looks" category, inclusion of five pre-determined stereotypes). Phi Sig, Pi Phi, and SDT are all ranked above Kappa in the "ranks" page, but no one's calling them out for it, because we all know that no one takes those or the number a chapter is ranked seriously.

Umm....Just because the rankings aren’t reliable doesn’t mean that KD doesn’t self rank?? Lol nobody’s calling out pi phi sdt and phi sig because those sororities aren’t constantly self ranking in discussions and then denying it all over the discussions. Ya nobody listens to the overall rankings Bc they aren’t reliable because certain sororities are known to self rank like crazy. One of those sororities is KD. And that is my point.
