I have been a sister of Sigma Kappa for three years and it honestly sickens me to read whats been posted on this website. The majority of these "rankings and comments" come from members of the greek system in different houses putting down their "rivals" to make themselves look better. What has been posted on this website does not represent Illinois Wesleyan University properly, the one thing we all have in common. Instead, it makes the greek system population look unintelligent and immature.

Jealousy runs wild at IWU and SK always seems to get negative comments because of it. Honestly, their house is made up of so many different types of girls that it's impossible to think of any other stereotype for them. They have a strong, supportive sisterhood and actually get along, unlike a couple of the houses on campus. A big presence on campus because of athletics, extra-curriculars, and their philanthropy events gives them a positive perception from outside of greek life.

This chapter is amazing. They are definitely stepping up their game as the years go on. They are gaining more and more confident, classy, and fun women. These are the girls that I love to hang out with. They are real women, and not the typical fake sorority girls that most people think of. They are definitely one of the best on IWU's campus.

Sig will always be the top tier house, they get all the best guys. But over the last few years if you aren't a sig rat they aren't friendly at parties. The guys don't really get along either- cliques like girls.

Kappas are definately the prettiest, but not the most involved. Their philanthropy can't match the big events like AGD and SK. BUT they are known for being really fun and classy, definitely one of the better known houses on campus.

This fall I was a member of Sigma Kappas pledge class. Unfortunately, I was one of the pledges that needed to drop. Despite what all of the rumors are saying, my decision to drop was for financial reasons. I dont know of any pledge that dropped for anything but financial reasons. It had nothing to do with the sorority itself. In fact, the girls of SK have continued to be friends with me and the other pledges that dropped, even though we are no longer apart of their sisterhood. Thats special.
