I think thetas are pretty hot, but am amazed by the (pi Phi?)constant slamming they recieve when any good comment is written about them

my my. you're quite the conspiracy theorist. i'm sorry that i happened to rank theta right after you did. i'll make sure next time to find out when you do and make sure i wait 2-3 ranks before i give my own opinion. sorry.

I agree with what this other person wrote (and I also admit I'm just average - maybe below :) - and in a top house):

I'm in a top house and I think that all of the houses are basically the same. The only difference is that Kappa/DG can recruit around 1-2 gorgeous girls and maybe 3 very pretty girls per pledge class. But Theta/Pi Phi/Alpha Phi can maybe only recruit 1 gorgeous girl, if that, and maybe 1-2 pretty girls per pledge class. The rest will be average or below average. The other houses may be able to recruit 1 pretty girl per pledge class, with the rest being average or below average. Let's all be honest - most girls will not be gorgeous or very pretty.

It really is about personality and fitting in. BUT houses also care about their reputation with the frats. The reason why a house might be more popular with a certain frat is because the house might have a few more (and by few, I really mean THREE to FIVE) girls they find attractive over another house. So the house gets a reputation for being "hot" when really only a select few girls in the house are really "hot".

True. Those are the prestige houses. If you get into one, great for you. If not, the other "all the same" houses are pretty great too. So...PNMs making emergency calls to get into a house is kind of...worthless
