Wow. I love how you assumed I'm not in a top house. I'm actually in one of the "top 2", except that I don't have a superiority complex about it. I was pointing out that being in whatever house other than the very top can be interpreted as the person being "off". BUT that's not always true. It could be due to a variety of factors. It's too bad you're so obsessed with some house improving. How about concentrating on your house, so you don't feel so insecure?

will be interesting. At the top will remain Kappa/DG as usual for now they don't have competition from the upper mid tier 3 (theta, pi phi and alpha phi)
I know girls here are not considering theta a top house and in reality it hasn't been for awhile but girls will choose between Theta and Piphi if they don't get the top 2. As in Kappa/DG different girls join these houses. Kappa/DG get a lot of blondes, in demand PNMs but with very different personalities. DG more involved, more party type and Kappa known for being more elite, etc.

Theta attracts more of the average girls (looks wise) who are smart, goody goods but with a not so great attitude. Pi phi the pretty party girls and hipsters and Aphi are girls that are more average in looks: sporty, competitive, etc.

These houses are the most wanted houses over the years pi phi and theta have fallen from the top and aphi has risen from nearly bottom to bottom of the upper tier. I see these rankings for these five staying the same after FR

As for the other five:
Middle- this is where I think there will be more movement. I am making these assumptions on the improvement/decline that have been happening.

Tridelt will remain the same for now but will become much closer with ADpi in ranks wise. They both (and now SDT too) attract the same kind of girls,that are sweet, involved and average. By average I mean USC average which is good looking in most campuses. ADPi will move closer to Tridelt and eventually surpass them in the future.

Lower mid-Gamma phi under the same leadership will continue to decline and become bottom. They have fallen hard fast and I see the trend continuing. SDT will continue to improve. Their senior class (whats left of when they were below axo) has graduated and their quality girls will continue to move the house up like ADPi has done over the years. It'll be interesting to see how convo days affects their informal recruitment and if they will grow.

AXO will remain the same.

I think this is pretty unbiased (at least I can't tell which sorority you are in, which is commendable), and gives a pretty solid projection of what the houses will be like after FR for this fall and the next.

And I forgot one important thing - I'm one of those average girls and I'm okay with that.

All the houses are great at USC and each offers a different experience depending on what you are looking for. USC has a great Greek community, with all the houses having a social calendar, involved and all have relative high GPA's compared to all non-greeks.
If you're joining a house for status or what boys you'll be socializing with you're doing it for the wrong reasons.
You should join a house because of the sisterhood and what you can bring to the house. Boys will like you if you're pretty, cute etc no matter what house you are in or not.
