What a weird way of wording it to make yourself feel better. Most other girls in middle houses definitely love the top houses when they rush (that's what makes them great at recruitment) but they GET OVER IT and love the house they join. Move on, woman.

Huh? I didn't even rush yet. I'm not saying this to make myself feel better. Being a good fit or not has nothing to do with being better or worse.

What she's saying is that a girl could be very pretty and nice, but if the "top" house is full of "cool" girls who know how to act aloof, that girl could be seen as too eager, etc. Not a good fit. Also, you must have been invited back to all of the "top 4" right and then decided on Pi Phi?

The top houses are full of pretty and nice girls. If your excuse for not making them is because you're too nice, then you are living in a fantasy world.

Also, if you don't consider Pi Phi a top house, then there's only the top 2 (DG/Kappa) or 3 (+Theta). In whichever case, Alpha Phi is not one of those houses.

If we're talking about "fit," there is a difference.

And this isn't even my individual opinion, since there's only 1 top house I really like, 1 I could care less about, and 2 I really dislike. But the PNMs that Alpha Phi goes after, and really all PNMs in general, the consensus is that they looove DG/Kappa (and it's up to those 2 houses if they keep/drop that PNM), then Theta, then Pi Phi, then Alpha Phi is still the #5 choice after Pi Phi and Tridelt. Even if I did like Alpha Phi, which admittedly I don't (but I also don't like 2 of the top houses and I know where they fit), I still know that they are #5 to the majority of PNMs. That's nothing to be ashamed of for any other house except Alpha Phi just keeps trying to social climb. If Alpha Phi is any higher on a PNMs priorities, it's usually because there is a top house they absolutely hate. It's never initially a girl's #1, until they get dropped by the top houses in order of DG/Kappa, Theta, then Pi Phi. And I don't even like Pi Phi, but it's the truth. All PNMs will act this way w FR
