#803by: Greek, part 3
even the girls I met during rush who did not know 100% going in who those top 4 were, well they knew right away from the other girls and going to the houses. The top houses are not considered equal. Not Kappa and DG. They are so different personality wise that they are really for different girls. Girls dropped by DG wanted Pi Phi. Theta was wanted by some girls but not usually as their first choice. In the end, a few dropped out of rush, and one went Aphi. It was pretty traumatic. I feel for the girls I know rushing next month, they will not all get what they want, and some will totally lose it.

I experienced so much of the same. A bunch of girls I know all wanted DG or die. Eventually one prefed kappa and some others went theta and most seem happy. Another got dropped by kappa and DG and is now a happy theta. It really is such a this house or quit mentality. Only at USC. The Greek system would all improve if girls wouldn't just drop out.

DG/Kappa
(most wanted, undisputed top 2)
Theta/Pi Phi
Alpha Phi (really any combo of the 3 depending on preference, but APhi would usually be last out of the 3)
ADPi/Tridelt
Gamma Phi/SDT
AXO
(these 5 it really just depends on which personality fits you, and which house keeps you for rush, but with AXO definitely the last choice)

Top: kappa-top house but more snobby
DG- same for them only theyre generally friendlier and more well liked
Mean-spirited, mean, social climbers/living outdated reps: gamma phi, theta, aphi
Laid-back, no longer top, party girls:
Pi phi
The nice girls, average, top gpas, involved:
Adpi, tridelt and sdt
The bitter house:
Achio
Of course this doesn't apply to all the girls but thats how most people see the girls in these houses
