sorority comments

Seeing all these posts bashing girls in other sororities is really depressing. Panhellenic is supposed to be a COMMUNITY of women with similar interests and aspirations. I'm pretty sure that means we're supposed to support one another, not try to bring each other down.

More than that, when sororities hate on other houses it makes ALL of panhellenic look bad because it makes Greek women seem catty and superficial, and that's not what we're about at all. If I had seen this website when I was a PNM I would have probably reconsidered wanting to rush just because it makes sorority life sound like it's all about social climbing and status. Luckily, I decided to rush/join a house and it was one of the best decisions I?ve ever made. However, some really great girls might decide not to rush at all just because sorority life sounds miserable just going off of what you see on this site.

I really just think that, as fellow members of the Greek community, we should ease up on the hating and bashing so we don?t ruin the reputation of the entire Greek system.

if you rush, just keep an open mind. and be yourself. these rankings don't matter in the real world

New to this site but...I would agree with the post 2 hours ago. Theta and Alpha Phi are getting their just desserts. I don't know too many Pi Phis or DGs actually, but the Thetas and APhis I know have always treated other girls not in their house with a lot of negativity, even more than Kappa. DG and Pi Phi and most of the middle houses keep their thoughts about other houses to themselves and are better for it.

OMG. I agree 100%. Theta and Aphi have been playing this game for years. Theta knows their elite status is all but gone, and Aphi never had any status so they stew in their own bile. They will rush horribly taking what they can get. DG and PiPhi are happy, fun girls, not haters. Their aura is so different from the hater houses. When you love your house you are nice to people, you feel good about yourself, and when you don't you become a vicious whacko.

Seriously stop bashing theta and aphi. It makes all of Panhellenic look bad. Any girl that got into those houses would consider themselves lucky. USC has an excellent Greek community, so start acting like one instead of bashing each other

I could be wrong but based on who is improving and who is declining that is how I see things shaping up.
Either way you should pick the houses based on where you fit in not the reputation. USC has an amazing Greek community.
