gpa and unit requirements for rush

Does anyone will know how this applies to transfers? Trying to transfer as a sophomore next fall, I know the requirement is a USC GPA of 2.5 and 12 completed units, but does that mean I could like use 12 units from my freshman year and take one class over the summer at USC to get a 2.5 GPA?

It only effects freshmen, if you have units you're fine

You can't use the classes from your freshman year because the new rule requires you to have a USC gpa. Taking one class over the summer doesn't count because you have to be enrolled full time
