haha so much of this is wrong, who wrote this? common consensus, for this year, as far as who guys say they like and what house girls want to be in:
Kappa/DG
Theta
APhi/Pi Phi
Tri Delt
ADPi/Gamma Phi
AGD
AXO
SDT
Slashes where people generally either put houses equal, or if preference of one over the other completely depends on who you ask.

First of all you will end up in the house that best suits your personality but here is the truth.
Top Houses: DG, Kappa, and Theta
Order : DG, Theta, Kappa (the thing about Kappa is that they have a long history of being a top house but their pledge classes keep getting worse, so naturally people write them as top but guys prefer DG and Theta)
DG: These girls are probably the hottest on campus, can be a little intimidating they always are in groups, but they are known for having fun sometimes too much fun. They are beach girls many down to earth
Theta: They are getting better and better each year, definitely rising above kappa with their last pledge class, the only thing about theta is that they overcompensate for their "good grade stereotype" by partying too hard. Probably had the most transports this year so they are becoming quite the sloppy party girls
Kappa: Used to be the hottest house still have some very pretty girls in the mix but now not so much. During recruitment they make sure to only show the extremely gorgeous girls. They are known for being rich and uptight. Will only party with certain groups but are known for being classy
Middle: Pi Phi, Alpha Phi (in that order)
Pi Phi: These girls are very artsy and fun, many are originally from LA and know their way around the city well. They are known for partying really hard but in a low key fashion, half and half in terms of looks
Alpha Phi: They are rising and may soon pass over Pi Phi, they have gotten

truthfully there will be a mix in all the houses. but yes the hottest girls are in kappa dg and theta.
KAPPA
no one can really say they're not the "top house" even if they're not the nicest or most inclusive girls. hot rich and generally stuck up. the less attractive ones are there beacause they also have absurd amounts of money. and honestly, if you don't have a ton of money why would you even want to be in kappa? you'll feel left out and unable to participate in many things. that wouldn't be fun
DG
also a mix. The super hot girls who didn't have enough money to fit in with kappa, didn't like the cattier vibe there, and the less attractive ones are legacies or already knew girls in the sorority. Has a rep for being blonde airheads, only partially true. everything's a mix
THETA
the most down to earth of the top houses. quirkier, sportier, more sisterhood oriented. hot girls less into partying pick theta over DG. the less hot ones are in because of their personalities.
then
PI PHI
super debatable whether it's a top house anymore. in kappa dg theta its like 70/30 as to attractive and not attractive; at Pi phi its more like 60/40
it's so hard to just generalize them all as middle tier partiers but that's kind of the rep right now
APHI
historically a middle tier house, but now some will call it #4
basically same thing as theta but slightly less attractive.

This is what most people would say:
TOP:
1. Kappa: I put them first because overall, they have hotter girls than DG now and their pledge class last year was stellar while DGs was just a complete mess. I would say Kappa/DG for #1, but Kappa has a slight edge right now. That could change easily but these 2 houses are always battling it out for the top 2 and this is how it stands at this moment in time. Both hot, both fun to party with, both liked by guys. And if you actually get to know them, both have tons of sweet girls.
2.DG
3.Theta: I put a space before theta because they aren't in the same league as dg or kappa but are still a "top house." Lots of transports last year. Slipping and need to get it together fast.
Upper Middle:
4. Pi Phi/Alpha Phi: they're tied now. pi phi's wild reputation is no longer true, but they're still getting punished for it (i'll just say they had way fewer transports than theta did last year...). they actually have a pretty tight sisterhood and are fun to party with. aphis are super sweet and have some hotties thrown in.
Middle:
5. Tri Delt: cool, fun, sporty, cute, good sisterhood
6. ADPi: really tight sisterhood
Lower: and when I say lower, keep in mind that the worst house at USC would probably be a top house at 90% of schools in the country.
7. Gamma Phi: dont have much of a presence. very sweet though and loooove their house
8.AXO: sweet girls. some cuties hidden within. represent their house well! very active on campus
