^ someone’s out of the loop I fear. They were dragged in three posts. And A LOT was revealed about them INCLUDING how their president responded to SA. And the posts were only deleted once the conversation changed direction towards holding presidents accountable.

I don’t disagree that IFC and Panhel created this situation, but acting like that means sorority presidents are just helpless bystanders is honestly insulting to people who were actually harmed. Leadership doesn’t disappear just because the system is corrupt. At some point, hiding behind “we had no choice” stops being an explanation and starts being a moral failure. I’ve been personally affected by a president’s decision to re-affiliate with a frat after SA concerns were raised. I watched leadership hear victims, acknowledge the harm, and then turn around and prioritize social relations anyway. That’s not IFC forcing their hand… that’s a choice. And telling girls who are “uncomfortable” to stay behind while everyone else goes isn’t neutral or protective; it isolates victims and gives frats exactly what they need to discredit them. I’ve seen that play out in real time, and it makes things worse. People are angry because this pattern repeats every year: presidents act out of fear of advisors, optics, and breaking the norm, then claim they’re victims of the system when they get called out. Meanwhile, safety is treated like a PR problem, criticism gets dismissed as drama, and accountability turns into TikTok clapbacks. Yes, IFC and Panhel deserve to be dragged. But leadership still means something. If someone isn’t willing to push back, take heat, or stand up for their members when it actually matters, they shouldn’t be in power. Full stop.

The IFC does not have to address any individual complaints when they are grandeur. You realize that right? You think people HAVENT been complaining to them for years? Because we HAVE. WE HAVE TRIED. I tried to come to them abt Johnny Sherman a while back before he was kicked out of beta and they deadass said “we can’t act unless this report is supported by witnesses including your chapter leadership who supervised the event, and the leadership of the frat that you are accusing. The only other way would be if we are contacted by the police or the university and forced to act”

^not true. you can pay to take down a single comment or a full thread, the only other way is to report the comment/thread and greekrank will decide if it violates that (hence the ppl claiming all the hate speech comments are betas trying to get the posts taken down for free). as someone who’s exec has had to pay to take down posts, it take a day or two.
