COB work after formal recruitment

I dropped out of formal recruitment after only getting matched to the houses i didn’t feel any sort of connection with and i’m wondering if anyone has gone through a similar situation and been able to match with a house they actually liked through cob? Also how does the process work, do you just contact the sororities individually on instagram and express interest if they do cob?
