as someone in what people usually call one of the top houses, I think it all comes down to the fact that they don’t recruit well. whether that is because they don’t train as much for recruitment as other houses, their girls don’t fit beauty standards as well, or the personality of the girls is less (for lack of a better word) like your basic sorority girl, is a matter of opinion. to me it’s mostly the former. honestly very sad cause these houses all have kind, fun, and stunning girls but because they don’t recruit well one year it becomes a positive feedback loop that makes them recruit worse the next year and they build up a reputation on this stupid website and with pnms that they are bottom houses. it’s just dumb high school petty stuff really that absolutely doesn’t matter at the end of the day. people who will judge you for being in a bottom sorority are people who even their chapter probably don’t like
