How do frats choose sweethearts?
by: UuI’m curious, do they pick them based on if they are close with that girls sorority or is it normally based off of a girl who’s been dating a guy for awhile?

Different for every frat. Some frats like PHIDELT and AEPI will truly pic the girls they vibe the most with and that supports their chapter. Some frats like KSIG or FIJI routinely pick girls they secretly wanna bang or are girls that are dating members. And some frats like beta just pick the girls who I guess put up with them? Idk man the beta sweetheart was weird this year it’s almost like every chick that you’d assume would be their sweetheart lowkey ditched them or just stopped hanging out as much so they picked some random GPHI? Some frats DONT rlly choose sweethearts like I haven’t heard of the business frat or SPD having a sweetheart. But either it’s to make the frat look good by picking a hot girl or it’s a genuine thing like they vibe with the girl

I think it really depends on the frat on if they have a sweetheart bc im pretty sure dke doesn’t choose a sweetheart

NB is not a sorority girl, NB would have ZERO IDEA of any of the assaults being delt internally in the Panhellenic system meanwhile many sororities do. NB is not involved in any Greek ressources that coukd have alerted her of that and ST is. That being said, NB is not close to May sororities and is simply close to beta, of course she wouldn’t know betas commited assault…you think beta is gonna tell her that? You think they’d admit that to her? Use ur brain. ST has every resource available and a duty to her panhen sisters while NB is just a girl.

all this being spun about beta sweetheart when no one says anything about sig, fiji and phi delt's sweethearts. all three have had numerous allegations but because ppl like to party there its chill.

Pretty sure all frats who are apart of IFC choose sweethearts. The Greek system is literally not affiliated really with the engineering or business frats.. they’re separate from the rest.
