unhappy in my srat
by: rrri joined in september 2020 and literally don't even know anyone from my sorority. no one seems interested in being friends and my big doesn't even talk to me. and my 'family' doesn't include me. all the girls are really rude and selfish in my opinion. should I drop or wait till school is in person? i live in Vancouver and have never met anyone because they're so groupy and uninviting. I'm sick of wasting my money on nothing

You can drop and rush again in Sept if your experience is really that bad (sorry btw). It also might be cause it’s hard to connect with no on campus activity. However, this as been a shared experience for a few girls in the past - some srats have a culture of being groupy. It sucks but unfortunately it’s just how it is and you’re better off pledging to a srat that will actually include you. Out of curiosity, are you in one of the top four?
