Advice for sorority pnms

Make sure you feel good about what you’re wearing, what you’ve eaten, everything. Anything that makes you feel good will help. Confidence is like 60% of what makes someone seem attractive and if you feel good about yourself, you’ll be able to put your best foot forward and show who you are authentically. It’s ok to be nervous, too, recruitment is a strange process, but if you focus on things that make you happy, you’ll have a much better time

This is not the time to go with the new highlights or haircut last minute and get your makeup done so you look pulled together, don’t get liquored up beforehand and review your social media removing anything questionable ahead of time that impacts overall positive image being portrayed, friendly and social is the way to go

I’d add to be enthusiastic and friendly during recruitment asking questions about how they selected their house and be sure to let the houses you feel strongly about know that you are interested in them, recruitment is not the time to be rude or introverted. Go on the U of Alabama GR for some good advice on this.

When you get to pref, if you go to a house but you feel like your heart is in the second house... tell them that. If you don’t you could end up high on their bid list and they could bid you instead of the house you love.
