Incoming Freshman

I just accepted into UIUC and I'm very interested in Greek Life. I wasn't and still am not a huge partier. What are some recommendations for fraternities for kids like me? I'm very focused on my studies, but also want to have some fun in college. I'm studying business and in high school I played volleyball, was involved in my church, and OSB.

I had a friend who's a legacy there who tried to rush with them last semester and they didn't even give him the time of day. Don't know if thats for me

Being studious and involved in church I say look into Nabor House! Met them through philanthropy and they’re super nice guys. Also if you’re business definitely rush a biz frat.

Agricultural frats like aggers (alpha gamma tho) are more for people into country and agriculture or at least that’s my take on it as a srat. Go for middle/ lower houses because they usually care more about schoolwork and aren’t worried about partying all of the time! They usually have the nicest guys and are well liked by girls so don’t worry about socials
