poc in sororities?

HI! I'm planning on committing to UIUC this fall and was wondering if there is diversity in some of the top houses? I heard from friends that there isn't really. I've always wanted to be in a sorority but I'm afraid that I might be the only one or that I might not be able to get into any :((

tri delt this year got 2 people other than white and that's the most diverse of the top houses which is saying a lot

no top house is diverse. they all look the same honestly. piphi is a decent house with some really cute diverse girls! phi mu and adpi are more diverse as well

Basically top houses for both fraternities and sororities are usually not diverse. Yes, they will have those 2-3 token POC just so they can claim "diversity". Generally, the lower the tier the house is at, the more diverse.

You are not being logical. Your statement is false. They are not less BECAUSE they have more nonwhites.

The lesser ones just happen to have more nonwhites.

I think about the only sorority that is offlimits would be DDD. The other ones will consider you if you are cute and your family has money.

Also, pretty much every fraternity is mostly white with a sprinkling of minorities. Some houses have more, that's mostly just because they might happen to be friends with some of the guys in the house.

Top houses are not diverse at all, but don’t let that stop you from rushing! If you fit in well with one you could still end up at one, but don’t worry if you don’t. Go with the house you personally fit in best with! Kd and axo aren’t at the very top but have some diversity. Good mid houses with more diversity are pi phi, axid, adpi, agd, dz, and phi sig.

Facts. If you are hot and not socially awkward, you can be any race, top houses will welcome you. It’s that way all over. Smart is a plus

Ik axo has a super diverse 25.5 class so ik they’re more diverse than most sororities
