Go into next fall's formal recruitment with a clean slate and unbiased opinion. Sorority women will be welcoming you as a guest into their homes, and you will need to be on your best behaviour and manner whether or not you have specific sorority 'friends'. One or two women 'friends' in one home will not be enough to guarantee a bid; many women make any bid decision. The time and effort you would spend attempting to make 'special friends' with specific sorority women might be better spent making friends and acquaintances with all types of students.

Rush again! Use this year to save up for at least a semester. Don’t let money keep you from being a part. If you’re working, anything is doable. Also, go in with a clean slate. Don’t expect any guarantees.

I’m 100% sure that at least one of those houses is doing informal recruitment next semester (I’m in it :)). Reach out to any of the girls in the house and I’m sure they’ll get you set for spring rush. If you don’t know anyone in the house personally, reach out to their Facebook page or find someone that rushed you on social media. I only say this because most decent houses don’t even look at the list of girls who signed up for informal through the Panhellenic website and instead only rush girls that have been submitted by current members.
