advice for new pledges

Avoid this site if you are a new pledge. You will be happier. If you accepted a bid - get to know your hew house and some of the girls in it. You won't click with everyone single one, but there will likely be a few that could be your friends for life. Ignore the stupidity about "this top house is going down" etc. etc." or opinions made just on looks. If you like the girls in your house and want to have fun, you've made the right choice. That's all that really matters. If you end up not liking your house after giving it a chance - then you can drop it. Greek life isn't everything. If you plan to drop and rush again, keep in mind that if you make it obvious that you are bashing the house you are leaving - you will easily be blacklisted from every house because it's not difficult to find out who you are. Sorority life is rewarding and fun, but it's also what you put into it. Ignore rankings and find a few nice girls in your house to be by your side for the fun times - that's all that matters. Too many people on this site have an agenda - either it's to skew the image of their house by bashing another one - or to get revenge for being rejected by that house. If you are a halfway decent person - you will find a place for you to call home and you will attract other decent people.
