Above is correct. Girls in houses have friends in other houses and don’t look down upon “tiers” like this website suggests. Frats place a lot more emphasis on rankings and are competitive between themselves.

This site brings out the worst in the Greek system. I hope you don’t give up on rush. Unfortunately there are some girls in some houses that insist on being “mean girls” and promoting bullying. Some girls want their house to be “top tier” so desperately that they’ll say anything on here. Every house has some genuine nice girls. Some have more than others. My advice is to find a house that doesn’t care about social climbing and cares more about sisterhood. You’ll be much happier in the long run.

Just remember EACH and EVERY house has pretty, smart, kind, mean, weird, funny, and unique girls. This ranking thing should calm down after recruitment. I agree it’s sad to see girls bash each other constantly. It’s a shame that Panhellenic doesn’t promote unity by promoting the Greek system as a whole. I think this site overall hurts Greek life. Try to find a house where you feel comfortable, but I agree I would be hesitant too after reading the stuff on here.

I hope all PNM’s read these comments. There are some houses that feel the need to get in this site and rank themselves high. Maybe they feel desperate for members or something. Not sure why. Please don’t use this as a guide for picking a house. You know where you fit and where you feel comfortable and let that be your guide to choosing what house you want. Sorry for all the negative postings on this site.

Wish I’d of followed this advice when I was rushing.

Stay off this sight if you want to choose a house based on facts. Choose what’s right for you and where u feel comfortable.
