will they jump to top immediately?

They sold half of their land for $7 Million dollars. They are keeping the other half of their land and building a mansion on it. It will make DTD and SAE and even Sigs and Pikes look like dumps.

Question for you all is....will they immediately jump to Top Tier, considering how many kids here pledge chapters because of their nice house (ie Beta)?

They have not been a factor the last several years and are currently not active. But they will build their house in 2019 (after the apartments on the other half of the land are built), and they will recruit their core group in 2019 with the intention of moving into the new mansion in 2010 and recruiting like crazy.

So you guys have one year to prepare. P.S. I'm not one of them, I found all this info online. I also think there is a risk of having an awesome house because some guys just join for that reason. Maybe that's just rationalizing our old house lol. In any case, just putting that info out there.

No one pledges for the nice houses here. Look at SAE. We're a bar school, we don't need nice houses. What the hell is alpha delta Phi anyways?

In their long history, SAE finally became semi-top only after they got a lot of the Old Beta guys. So they are kind of managing to pull from two alumni bases as far as referrals.

Guys pledge beta because of the house and they had a history of being top, so their brothers/dads have passed on that impression.
Alpha Delta phi has never been top. I don't know that they've ever even been relevant. The best they can hope for is lower mid, and that's aiming high

is that every chapter with a huge house has lots of members. So at least some people do pledge for the house. And so I can see them pledging a lot of guys. Whether they manage to become prominent or top is of course to be seen.

They have $7.5MM cash to build a new house, they will not have to pay a mortgage so they can be choosy about who they pledge. Prediction: Will become known as the country club frat.

House on National Register...but it was run down inside. Too much $$ to keep it up, they will have $7.5 million to build a new one. I predict it will look similar to the old one except more modern.
