truth about ranks (or lack of)

Ranks change a little year by year, but not by much. Most houses can be clustered together and just grouped as one "tier". People trying to pigeonhole each house and tie them down in one position have no clue about the fluctuation that is always occurring. So - here are the "tiers" in ALPHABETICAL order:
AXO, DG, Theta
Gphi , Tridelts both houses rotate in/out of top tier
Aphi (not in same tier as Gphi/Tridelts), Kappa, KD
Adpi, Axid, Pi Phi, XO
AGD, AOPi, Phi Mu, PSS
AEPhi, DZ, SDT

I can't really speak about AXO, but I will say that DDD is a step below DG and Theta. DDD is a legit house, but nowhere near the long-term prestige of the Top Two.

Actually due to social probation, tridelts is EXACTLY where they belong - and lucky to make it to second row!

Yes the top two theta and dg and this years pledge class for Tri Delt and AXO should determine who joins them

tridelts definitely NOT top tier. I think it's time for people (especially the last pledge class) to realize the hard truth!

yeah for the most part, although ranks are not as important for frats (aside from obtaining block, if you care about getting drunk at noon).
A lot more good guys in smaller frats than there are good girls in lower sororitys. Sorry for the honesty :/

^ def a kappa saying kappa up one. No one else on the entire campus would say kappa above aphi or kd, let alone compare it to tri delt or gphi.

I'm the one that said it, I am a guy, and I am not saying they are that high at the moment. I actually think they are "bword"-itchy at the current time.
Look through history though, and they have been behind only Theta, DG, Alpha Chi, and Gamma Phi historically speaking.

Not in either house but tiers good for upcoming year. Swapping amongst top two tiers is common but after this past rush, tridents in second tier for now.
