how to get a bid as a junior
by: NewbieI will be a junior transfer next year. I will be coming into the school maybe knowing 5 people none of whom are in greek life. I would like to make more friends (thus why I plan on rushing) but since I don't really know anyone in the houses what is the best way for me to get a bid? I don't really care about tiers but I would prefer a house that t least has block.... Thank you everyone.

OK so can girls in sororities put in good words to middle houses and stuff? Also how do I find out about rush parties/events

upper middle houses are phi psi, fiji, phi delt, sig ep. lower mid is like lambda, psk, du, sammys, dchi. to learn about events just talk to kids on your floor who are rushing and ask around. if you got no options roam around the area and if you hear a party going on walk up and see whats up. i know the better frats wont let you in without an invite and they'll tell you to come to their next sober event or just let you in without one.
