worth it?
by: I'm backI'm transferring to the UIUC in the fall from another school (Very proud of how hard I worked to get in). I have considered rushing a fraternity but I wonder if it's even worth it and whether or not I'll even get into a reputable house. Feel free to be as honest as you want

that being said, going greek is literally the best decision you can make while you attend UIUC, and i know a few juniors who've transferred from other schools get initiated in top houses. just do it

HOW do I rush if I don’t know anyone? Like how do I find out about a rush events/parties?

uiuc isnt a party school if you dont go greek. also school sucks so if you dont have a good social life you wont be happy

best time to rush is freshman year, second best time is now. just do it. but, do note, most frats will be hesitant to initiate a junior because they have little time left. keep that in mind. make sure you rush many places so you don't end up not getting a bid.
